Luncheon Club

North Molton Luncheon Club – Over 60s

In the 1970s meals on wheels ceased to be a viable method of providing a good meal for the over 60s. Frozen meals reheated proved unpopular at the time and were replaced by volunteers taking on the task locally of providing lovely freshly prepared food on Wednesdays in the Victory Hall.

The meals are served at 12:30pm on Wednesdays except during August.

The lunches are cooked by volunteers and the operation is non profit making.

The facility provides a meeting place, as well as good food, and there is a definite buzz about the whole occasion.
